His team is now the “legal caretaker” of the museum, specifically the “Annabelle” Raggedy Ann doll. This is the same contract that guy who just died had which adds up, I guess. They’d need someone new to travel around with the trailer of museum stuff, but that’s legally different than ownership.
Caretaker appears to be more like spruiker (snake oil salesman). Rife began promoting museum ticket sales, merchandise, the upcoming Conjuring film, and to announce the Warren estate’s new Airbnb.
